However, the handling of paint, even through it again seeks the illusion of transparency of color, is very different. The works are not huge, to encompass the eye in a total environment. The feeling is not tempestuous and romantic, but calm and contemplative.—-”
Anenberg-W, however views her work as landscape or seascape. At an early eage, she was impressed by the beautiful views on summer vacation around Hunter Mountain in the Catskills, and later she moved to Long Island along the sea. One looks and imagines landscapes or seascapes, either one, since they have become one in the scyche of Anenberg-W as ‘naturescapes'. Hence the title, “Colorscapes”. —-”
